Our Buyside Trading System suite of applications otherwise known as AIM (Asset and Investment Manager), is seeking a senior level Software Quality Assurance Analyst. AIM builds on Bloomberg's core data and analytics, offering Buyside institutions, hedge funds, and proprietary trading desks a complete front-end Order Management System package. AIM delivers global, multi-asset solutions from portfolio, trading, and middle office & back office operations. It allows clients to handle their portfolio and risk, optimize their workflows, improve compliance and lower their operational risk.

We will trust you to:

• Obtain and analyze software requirements
• Develop scenarios and granular test cases to execute against new system improvements
• Build automated regression test scripts that are run weekly.
• Support multiple projects and expectations with quality results in a timely manner.
• Utilize strong project management skills with the energy, creativity and flexibility needed to handle multiple builds and frequent releases.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Economics or Finance
• At least 5 years of relevant Financial Markets software testing experience
• Working knowledge of both Fixed Income and Equity assets and markets
• Ability to apply software test techniques to software that changes in a rapid code cycle
• Experience with Order Management Systems & Electronic Trading Applications
• Practical experience with automation tools & script writing suited for regression test execution
• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of FIX Protocol
• Familiarity Bloomberg
