Bloomberg Execution Management System (EMSX) is seeking an expert software quality assurance analyst to perform functional testing in a dynamic environment. EMSX is a broker-neutral trading tool that allows the user to route multi-asset class securities to over 2000 broker-dealer destinations, including over 50 algorithmic suites, using Bloomberg's analytical tools from pre-trade through post- trade analysis. EMSX integrates news, indications, real-time market and portfolio analytics into a customizable workspace for monitoring execution quality.

We’ll trust you to:

As a member of the team you will be analyzing business requirements and executing tests against the new system enhancements. In addition to creating and running weekly manual and automated regression scripts and partnering closely with business development and R&D to ensure a quality product goes to market.
We are looking for creative, self-starters who can think outside the box. This role is based in the Skillman, NJ office, but some travel to the NY office is required.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - BS or BA in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years previous Software Quality Assurance experience with electronic trading applications
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask multiple projects at once
• Proven ability to apply software testing techniques in a fast-paced software release environment, including the ability to handle multiple builds and frequent releases
• Strong manual testing skills on both UI and backend
• Solid understanding of the Equity markets, their networks, and investment strategies
• Experience with FIX protocol
