What's the role?

The Bloomberg Global Data Division is looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to be a part of the Fixed Income Credit team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for researching and analyzing companies' debt obligations, determining appropriate corporate structure, and analyzing financial data on assigned industry sectors and companies. In this role, analysts also interact and build relationships with the world's largest corporations, and contribute to the dissemination of superior information that aids financial professionals in their decision making process.

We'll trust you to:

  • Source and qualify relevant Capital Structure, Syndicated Loan, and Corporate Bond data
  • Update and process data onto the Bloomberg database in a timely manner
  • Maintain and enhance the existing database
  • Respond to client queries regarding the data within assigned markets
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop & deliver projects and initiatives

You'll need to have:

  • The ability to work legally in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • BA/BS in Business, Finance and/or Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of credit analysis experience required
  • Industry sector specialization a plus
  • Bloomberg Professional Services proficiency preferred
  • MBA/CFA a plus
  • Excellent written, communication, presentation and networking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Effective research and analysis skills
  • Exposure to data analysis and statistical software (R, STATA, SQL, Tableau, JIRA) preferred
  • Sell-Side Commercial Underwriting exposure from an Investment Bank is a plus
