Are you an analytical problem solver who is energetic and creative, with a passion for quality assurance testing and a desire to build and design new test tools? If so, look no more. The Fixed Income Electronic Trading Quality Assurance Team is looking for someone to join them for a long-term contract position. As a member of the team, you will perform functional software testing on Bloomberg’s Electronic Trading platforms which provide consolidation of trading activities across Fixed Income assets. The team uses a key-word driven automation tool developed in-house with an Excel-like front-end. Clients can perform price discovery, pre-and post-trade analysis as well as straight through processing on this platform.
We’ll trust you to:
- Build automated test scripts based on manual test cases provided by team members
- Run and troubleshoot automated tests
- Map Bloomberg application screens in order to make them available for automation
- Support the team with technical troubleshooting of existing automated regression scripts
- Design new test tools
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Business, Finance, or Computer Science field
- Previous Software Testing/Automation experience within the financial markets sector
- Experience with Order Management Systems or Electronic Trading Applications
- Ability to quickly obtain detailed knowledge of complex products and apply software test techniques for rapid production releases
- Strong MS Excel, VB Script, VB.Net, and VBA skills
- Experience testing apis, including FIX Protocol
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong project management skills
We’d love to see:
- Strong knowledge of Fixed Income or Derivatives (or both)
- Bloomberg Terminal usage
