We maintain and enhance a distributed, low latency system which gathers and publishes market moving data every day. This system is a mission critical data ingestion system for the Bloomberg Professional platform and enterprise feeds.

We'll trust you to:

• Design and develop functionalities/components of the current web crawling system
• Analyze and debug performance of the system and develop solutions to improve it

You'll need to have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience developing large scale distributed software systems
• 3+ years experience with C/C++ programming and object-oriented design
• Proficiency in developing multi-threaded applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

We'd love to see:

• Robust knowledge of browser/web server interaction
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques
