The Integration & Support team in the Global Data Technical Operations department conducts functional testing of the tools and technologies used by analysts for data processing and performs incident management whenever an issue arises. The team’s primary goal is to prevent bugs from being released into production through regular and rigorous software testing, increasing using automated methods. However, when issues occur, the team is equally as diligent to resolve them in a timely manner by collaborating with colleagues in Technical Operations or Engineering as needed. In addition, the team performs root cause analysis for all major outages in order to identify and implement preventative measures. By providing transparency into patterns and trends the team plays a key role in improving the business unit’s processes and procedures, change management, or development standards.
