Bloomberg runs on data, and in the Global Data team we're responsible for acquiring it and providing it to our clients. We collect, analyze, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic Bloomberg Terminal- the facts and figures which ultimately move the financial markets. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes- and all this while delivering advanced insights to our clients.

Investors target Alpha, our data and analytical tools help them achieve it. We provide portfolio managers real time information on companies’ financial performance to assist in profitability analysis & assess the risk and return of their investment. Buy-side & sell-side, equity analysts use our data to create valuation models to provide stock recommendations and target prices and assess the viability of investing in a company.

As a team we're responsible for improving and reporting fundamentals related content for the Bloomberg Terminal. Offering reported on and normalized financials, key analytical ratios, industry-specific data points, and Business Line and Geographic Segmentation data - we move markets!

What's the Role?

We're looking for a Team Leader to manage and develop a high-performing team of Equity Fundamentals analysts. In this role, you'll be expected to drive the development of Data products and process re-engineering by applying technology, resource management, and business planning. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate globally across the business with Business Managers, News, Bloomberg Intelligence, Sales & Analytics, Tech Ops, and Engineering. You will create valuable connections and develop your personal brand while learning new skills and building meaningful business connections.

• Recruit, coach, and develop a team of Fundamentals analysts as they become industry experts in their product
• Collaborate with global counterparts to evolve the role, workflow, and operating procedures - consistently, accurately and timely across all regions
• Create processes and standards that make sure the delivery of data and our level of customer service always exceeds our clients' expectations
• Work with Product, Sales, News and Engineering to develop and enhance our product databases and functionality across the terminal
• Manage and mentor your team on complex data projects and business initiatives- time to show off what you can do!
• Strategize to recruit, retain, and develop top talent across the globe

We're looking for:

• An experienced leader and high energy communicator to provide superior service to the business and our clients
• 5-7 years of Equity Fundamental market or industry specific experience
• The ability to execute your team's strategy with the flawless performance Bloomberg is known for providing
• Well rounded knowledge of financial data and thoughtful, creative approaches to potential problem solving and data analysis
• The ability to build credibility with peers and trusted relationships with stakeholders and clients.
