Our team is the backbone of Bloomberg’s internal business functions. We enable Bloomberg to sell our products, deliver the best-in-class service to our customers, as well as conduct our business with efficiency, transparency, and integrity by leveraging SAP’s O2C and P2P functionality.

As a Senior Engineer at Bloomberg, you will be responsible for the technical product and advising the business on process improvements. You will collaborate with a global team of technologists and engage in direct communication with end-users and Product Owners to design and build solutions that drive Bloomberg's operational excellence and growth. These solutions will interface with various systems through APIs, message queues, and other technologies to facilitate workflows across broad domains.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with regular in-office collaboration. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills in our open and inclusive environment while working alongside colleagues with deep technical experience in SAP.

You’ll need to have:

•   At least 3 years of experience in ABAP development with good understanding of SAP’s technical architecture, and strong trouble shooting skills
• Hands on experience in developing solutions using Object-Oriented programming
• Expertise in software development practices (e.g., Transaction Processing, automated testing and database design)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
