This Sales Associate will support a team of Advertising Sales Executives who cover the Bay Area, Pacific Northwest, Texas, Colorado, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The candidate will assist these sales executives with tasks related to selling ads across Bloomberg's various media platforms including digital, TV, radio, print, mobile and events.

This role is a fantastic way to dip your toes into the world of ad sales to see if it's the right industry for you. You'll be exposed to all functions, including sales, operations, marketing, and management!

The successful candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks, and should be able to work independently with little or no supervision. The person in this role must be extremely well-organized and detail oriented, and have a positive disposition and "can-do" approach. The ideal candidate will have a high energy level and effectively build relationships with team members, across other business areas, and with external partners at all levels. He or she will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this role, as well as a commitment to superior service.

You will be able to:

  • Help manage and keep calendars (Including scheduling meetings)
  • Plan and execute high-level meetings and events (internal & external)
  • Utilize sales force management
  • Work on fiscal reporting, team communications, client research and prepping sales reps for their meetings
