The Global Recruiting Team serves as a strategic partner to identify, attract, and hire a talented and diverse workforce, well-suited for our unique culture. We are a global organization with experienced and entry-level recruiters, coordinators, team leaders, regional and global managers, and systems and operations analysts based in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA. Each recruiting team works with business leaders and hiring managers to address gaps in staffing resources, create a talent pipeline through Bloomberg’s formal training and internship programs, and also support current employees with internal mobility.

What's the role?

Bloomberg is looking for an energetic Intern to join our Latin America Recruiting team in Sao Paulo. We are excited to provide up to a two year internship where you will receive training and hands-on experience across Human Resources; giving you the foundations for a long term career in HR.

You will partner with colleagues in Brazil, New York and across the globe in Benefits, Recruitment Operations, Global Recruiting, HR Business Partnering, Talent Development, Legal, Finance Administration, Diversity & Inclusion and Immigration departments. You'll be the point person for coordination, project management and support for Latin America Recruiting and will work across all of Bloomberg's business units in the Latin America Region.

We'll trust you to:

  • Organize interviews, communicate interview details and host interview visits
  • Assist Recruiters with managing internal and external job posting responses, reviewing resumes and prescreening candidates
  • Establish working relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Enter and maintain integrity of data in recruiting database and produce ad hoc recruiting reports as necessary
  • Record invoices and ensure payment of employee and candidate expenses
  • Route unsolicited incoming resumes and respond to general email and phone inquiries directed to the Recruiting Department
  • Provide general administrative support to the Recruiting team
  • Perform data entry, track resumes, and maintain the resume database
  • Participate in various recruiting projects on an as-needed basis

You'll need to be:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in HR/Business/Psychology/Economics or in related disciplines
  • Interested in or have previous experience in Human Resources or Sales with a willingness to learn
  • Available to work 6 hours a day (AM)
  • Fluent in English; Proficiency in Portuguese & Spanish is a plus

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
