Do you think in 140 characters? Do you know how to elicit the right Facebook emoji reaction? We’re looking for a social media intern to help support our marketing and communications team, crafting tappable, clickable copy to inspire, educate and interest our audiences.

You should be passionate about social media trends, and au fait with best practices and guidelines in social media and branded content, and have interest in working with industries including business, technology and finance.

You are a high-energy, self-motivated and creative student. You will have the opportunity to develop, plan, manage together with the LatAm team our local social media. You are someone who puts the needs of the client/customer first and is looking for a new and challenging internship, this is the job for you.

We will trust you to:

Collaborate with marketing and business partners to help develop social strategies that align with and support the core goals of individual partners within Bloomberg
Act as a thought-partner and advocate for social media throughout the region
Work with the Social Media content Manager to create and execute market-specific social media plans in support of central marketing initiatives
Delicatedly find opportunities and make recommendations to the core social team
Develop, communicate and coordinate social media planning with internal business partners
Utilize social analytic tools to track and evaluate performance of individual initiatives and overall regional success
Manage LatAm translation vendors
Create Marketing reports

You'll need to have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team setting
Fluency in English
Sharp editing and basic website maintenance skills
Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
Availability to work 6 hours per day for the 1-2 years while in school/university
Keen interest in financial markets (though experience or finance qualification not required)
