Are you excited by breaking news and love to jump across sectors and teams? Do you also have sharp writing skills, excellent news judgment and want to shape coverage on some of the biggest stories in Korea?

What's the role:

We are looking at 1 year Fixed Term Contractor to join our team in Seoul. As an editor in our Korean Language service, you will be tasked with the selection, translation and editing of stories from English into Korean. You would ideally have several years of relevant experience in a news service and sending headlines in real time would be an advantage.
As a member of the Seoul bureau, you will also be expected to jump in and contribute to the broader output of the newsroom as and when needed.

You'll need to have:

3 years translating, editing or reporting experience at a major business news service
Knowledge of international financial markets and economic data
Strong English-Korean translation skills
A proven ability to work in a team environment
