Bloomberg News is seeking experienced translation editor to join our Chinese-language service working in Beijing or Shanghai. Responsibilities include selecting, translating and editing of stories, translating headlines in a real-time manner and handling Chinese-language news pages.
You have comprehensive knowledge of financial markets, possess strong abilities for translating English-language articles into Chinese and repackaging translated Chinese content, and be able to work under pressure with stringent deadlines.
You should also have sound news discernment and the ability to prioritize news based on level of urgency, and good interpersonal skills in English verbally and in writing.
