What's the role?

Our sales development representative (SDR) team helps bring new Enterprise Data Sales talent into the department, trains them across the various complexities of our Enterprise Data business, and develops them to be the sales force of tomorrow. As a sales development representative, you will be responsible for lead generation, new business strategies and marketing, managing the day to day relationship with large accounts as well as hunting for growth opportunities. The career path associated with the Sales development role generally leads into an experienced Sales position.

We'll trust you to:

  • Generate leads across Mainland China for the Enterprise Data Sales team
  • Frequent engagement in prospecting calls to existing accounts and new business to create a pipeline and identify new opportunities to grow revenue
  • Establish and maintain efficient processes to assist in the smooth day to day Data Sales team operations and administration
  • Build a depth of understanding around a customer's business, workflows and technology stack
  • Build a depth of understanding around our Data product features, solutions and benefits and how they align with the point above
  • Leverage this knowledge to build and maintain client relationships to deliver revenue generating and adoption/usage goals
  • Build credibility with our clients by being informed about the evolving data and financial markets landscape

You'll need to have:

  • 2 to 5 years of client facing experience in Financial services or Financial technology in the past 5 years
  • Experience supporting institutional clients with their market data and technology needs
  • Hands on experience using the Bloomberg product suite
  • Ability to identify opportunities to grow existing business relationships
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders both externally and internally
  • Hands on experience using the Bloomberg product suite
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in Mandarin & English
