Bloomberg Marketing partners with forward-looking business in Financial Solutions department to seize and create opportunities and to drive difference. We use data to understand markets and audiences and creative ideas to build stories and brands. We create campaigns and work that captures attention and drives a reaction. We move fast, and our core approach is integrated and pioneering. 

What's the Role: 

  • Company Marketing Team Lead is responsible for the definition and coordination of our marketing strategy, execution and reporting in partnership with key business stakeholders across Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Philanthropy. 
  • Reporting to the Head of Marketing APAC, this individual will lead a team of marketing managers to plan and implement marketing plans that support our business objectives. That includes but is not limited to building employer brand, recruitment campaign, employee engagement and retention.   
  • This individual will also be responsible for driving collaboration and aligning objectives with peers in other regional markets such as London and New York to help achieve broader Marketing goals globally. 
  • Partner across marketing functional teams (creative, digital, social, events, market research) to ensure fully integrated marketing plan and program.  
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for being the main strategic partners with different business units setting direction for the Company Marketing Management team, developing team members, and making sure results are achieved, measured and reported.

    We’ll trust you to: 

  • Set the direction for Company Marketing in APAC, identifying business priorities and define the appropriate marketing strategy 
  • Work with the team to create results driven, multi-channel Marketing plans that support those priorities 
  • Collaborate with regional marketing managers and leaders globally to ensure solutions/audiences you are responsible for are supported with well-informed and innovative marketing programs to optimize measurable return on investment  
  • Manage the full Marketing cycle from strategic planning to execution leveraging all of our internal & external agencies and functional partners 
  • Be responsible for a number of marketing programs to support regional business objectives that build awareness, improve recruitment conversion, nurture Diversity & Inclusion culture and promote Corporate Philanthropy 
  • Be hands-on, detail-oriented, self-organized, and proactive in coordinating and leading marketing activities from every angle to achieve maximum results for Company Marketing 
  • Be an advocate for the Bloomberg brand and ensure that all marketing activities are aligned 
  • Ensure integration between all planned marketing activities whether by an audience or business units, as well as alignment with the broader global marketing team covering the same capacity in different regions 
  • Think strategically and execute tactically 
  • Adapt, learn quickly and be resourceful 
  • Be innovative and creative to bring new ideas to the team 
  • Actively lead and participate in global conference calls with both New York and London. Have flexibility to attend sporadic evening and morning calls. 
  •  
    You'll need to have: 
  • 10+ years of relevant marketing experience in a multinational organisation 
  • Demonstrated knowledge in B2C and B2B marketing with experience developing complex marketing plans and coordinating execution across digital, content, social media and events. 
  • 3 years+ experience in managing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business and internal marketing teams 
  • Proven leadership and relationship management skills 
  • Strong project management skills and problem-solving skills with an ability to create project plans and manage through seamless execution 
  • The ability to lead by example to drive results and develop a team 
  • The ability to multi-task in a time-pressured environment 
  • Successful track - record in partnering with multiple stakeholders 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels and departments 
  • Proven continuous career growth within an organization 
  • Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English 
  • Flexibility to travel within region, New York and London 

We’d love to see: 

  • Solid understanding on the APAC employer brand and employee engagement market, including trends, challenges and opportunities across recruitment, diversity and inclusion, philanthropy and HR.  
  • Sound knowledge of financial services industry. 
  • Experience with quantitative marketing strategy including data mining/extraction and analysis of marketing campaigns including customer profiles, communication strategies, customer segmentation and reporting 
  • High energy, a sense of urgency, decisiveness, and the ability to work effectively in an extremely fast-paced, constantly iterative environment 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to adapt and learn new market 
  • No fear to failure
