We are hiring for an Ad Sales Team Lead - South & South-East Asia to be based in our Singapore office. You will lead conversations with key influencers and C-suite stakeholders, focused beyond media sales at a full range of services from strategy to creative, content, communications and in-market activations. Focused on bringing the best of Bloomberg to these markets, you will nurture and grow the Bloomberg share of business from existing relationships and develop new business within these core markets. As well as delivering on a personal sales and growth target, you will be involved in team management, collaboration and sales contribution towards a regional digital programmatic revenue target with business.

We'll trust you to:


  • Deliver the sales revenue target for the assigned geographic territories with compelling pitches and proposals
  • Identify international prospects within the region to develop new business relationships and opportunities
  • Manage and grow core sales team and in market rep relationships & networks to increase domestic profile and revenues
  • Manage direct relationships and sales activity with key government departments/categories, including but not limited to technology, energy, finance, forex, fintech, luxury and tourism/ agencies, coordinating multiple resources to close sales and deliver campaigns
  • Develop strong and trusted relationships with client and agency senior management and through all levels in these organizations to maximize revenue opportunities and position Bloomberg as a preferred advertising partner
  • Engage with colleagues in international offices to exchange ideas, share information and update account information
  • Provide regular sales updates and forecasts to your Line Manager on current revenue and sales pipeline - using Salesforce on a daily basis as a CRM tool
  • Develop a strong relationship with our existing partners for the Bloomberg business in the market and manage these key client relationships to achieve the best results for the business
  • Develop new ideas and uncover market intelligence across the region for Bloomberg Media sales and stakeholders

You'll need to have:

  • Atleast 12 years of regional APAC advertising experience in a media brand preferably with an international setup
  • B2B experience in a direct sales revenue generating role
  • Experience leading, coaching and/or developing teams
  • Direct experience in liaising with and managing senior stakeholders and government contacts
  • Well-developed consultative selling skills and the ability to build relationships with key contacts in client and agency organizations
  • Experience in presenting and pitching strategic sales proposals to senior external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively multi task, account manage, strategize and develop business
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset being able to work well in teams across borders
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
