We provide guidance to Buy-side customers to integrate their Order and Execution Management Systems with Bloomberg via FIX to stage orders and route them to various dealers for execution.

We provide guidance to Sell-side dealers and brokers to integrate their pricing and trading engines with Bloomberg via FIX to stream prices & complete real time trade negotiation.

For post trade we also provide guidance to customers who integrate to our FIX & SFTP based workflows for trade reconciliation, allocation, matching, derivative clearing and trade reporting.

What’s the role?

Bloomberg's Global Execution Business is expanding and we therefore have exciting opportunities within the Electronic Trading Client Service Team.

You will be responsible for clients on-boarding on e-trading platforms, liaising with clients directly as well as with contracts, sales, compliance and legal divisions within Bloomberg. This is an excellent practical step into the world of electronic trading.

This a key role dealing with documentation requirements for our clients, relating to elements such as AML (Anti Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer) as well as legal documentation and user permissions. It will involve engaging clients on a regular basis, generating requisite documents, answering client queries, verifying client information and following up regarding contracts in order to help complete the full onboarding cycle. You will take responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of Bloomberg accounts.

You’ll need to have:

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Self-starter with ability to work to deadlines.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese
  • Understanding of the financial markets.
  • Attention to detail.
