DNA's broader purview also positions us to step back and evaluate systems and workflows more strategically, connecting the dots across markets and identifying the best way to prioritize development of new and existing technologies.

We'll trust you to:

  • Collaborate with journalists throughout all our APAC bureaus to learn their technology needs and encourage use of new software, features and workflows
  • Work across departments, from Bloomberg Intelligence to Global Data, to ensure Bloomberg's best content is used in all our technology-driven news stories
  • Learn complex information systems inside and out, in order to test enhancements, troubleshoot issues and configure settings for maximum accuracy
  • Think creatively to identify opportunities for improving coverage with new and existing technologies
  • Stay on top of major stories and trends that matter to market participants

You need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 recent years of experience in financial Journalism
  • Experience in a real-time news environment
  • Experience in using technology (automation, software tools, programming) to produce, automate or improve news content
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Passion for the limitless possibilities of technology in news
  • A visionary mindset to generate the ideas that will shape the newsroom of the future
  • A drive to make processes better and more efficient
  • Levelheadedness to solve problems quickly and confidently in high pressure situations
  • Outstanding communication skills

We'd also love to see:
