What's the role?

As a key member of our APAC Implementation team for our growing buy-side business you'll leverage your experience in project and client relationship management to manage the implementation process from pre-sales through to solution go-live. You will engage with our buy-side users ranging across the front office, trading, compliance, operations, and IT. You’ll develop and document tailored OMS implementation plans based on specific client needs, and actively identify risks and dependencies throughout the process. You’ll demonstrate deep product knowledge, an aptitude for technology, a strong understanding of the buy-side community, and a comprehensive grasp of the buy-side investment life-cycle and workflows.

We’ll trust you to:

• Engage with prospects/clients to gather business requirements, manage user workshops, and design workflow/systems solutions
• Direct buy-side implementation activities working alongside colleagues in Sales, Account Management and Product
• Maintain documentation throughout the implementation and report on status, risks and dependencies for all client facing projects
• Develop a deep understanding of Bloomberg's buy-side solutions for the Front, Middle and Back Office
• Manage close engagement with clients for an optimal on-boarding experience
• Execute on strategies to expand penetration of our solutions and increase usage throughout the duration of the project

You’ll need to have:

• 3+ years experience with buy-side investment systems implementations (OMS, PMS, Accounting, Risk)
• Comprehensive understanding of buy-side investment workflows, across asset classes, from portfolio construction through post-trade settlement
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Great organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and an ability to work well as a team
• A highly articulate, consultative approach
• The ability to effectively communicate technical/complex issues in a simplistic manner to various audiences
• Excellent Project Management skills. Ideally with a PMP / Prince 2 certification
• Strong Microsoft Application knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
