Our team:

Our Market Data Analysts collect, analyze, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic Bloomberg Terminal- the data which ultimately moves the financial markets. They apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and they implement technology solutions to enhance our systems and processes- and all this while providing platinum customer support to our clients. As a Data Analyst within the Exchange Business Management team, your main responsibilities will be to update, maintain and process data for a designated market area. This would also include any administrative support required to ensure efficient delivery of the work flow.

We'll trust you to:

• Verify data accuracy, correcting and investigating inaccurate data and explaining methodology used in producing data shown on Bloomberg functions
• Communicate with sales, analytics, data product specialists and tech engineering teams, coordinate between various departments to resolve time sensitive issues.
• Handprice end-of-day data sent from Exchanges for daily updating
• Make enhancements to current workflows
• Assist in various ad hoc and process improvement projects

We'll need you to have:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a finance related field
• Strong interest in financial markets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Some proficiency in MS Excel

We'll be glad if you have:

• Prior work experience in handling data and analytic platforms
• Good understanding of Exchange traded securities
• Strong Excel skills will be beneficial
