Bloomberg runs on data. In the Global Data team, we're responsible for supplying it - which also means we solve problems. On any given day, we identify ways we can make the company's processes and software more efficient. And help Bloomberg's prestigious help desk answer complex client questions. And isolate, collect, and process billions of data points, too.

The Bloomberg Global Data Division is looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to be a part of the Fixed Income Capital Structure team. Qualified candidates will be responsible for researching and analyzing companies' debt obligations, determining appropriate corporate structure, and analyzing financial data on assigned industry sectors and companies. In this role, analysts also interact and build relationships with the world's largest corporations, and contribute to the dissemination of superior information that aids financial professionals in their decision making process.

You need to have:

• BA/BS in Business, Finance and/or Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of credit analysis experience preferred
• Industry sector specialization a plus
• MBA/CFA a plus
• Excellent written, communication, presentation and networking skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Effective research and analysis skills
• Commitment to enhancing and developing products
• Fixed Income experience preferred
• Exposure to marketing, statistics and/or software programming preferred

We'll trust you to:

• Sourcing and qualifying relevant Capital Structure data
• Updating and processing data onto the Bloomberg database in a timely manner
• Maintaining and enhancing the existing database
• Responding to client queries regarding the data within assigned markets
• Liaising with stakeholders to develop & deliver projects and initiatives
