Our team:

Bloomberg runs on data, and our Global Data department is responsible for finding it and supplying it to our clients. Data Acquisition in Taipei is involved in a wide variety of pricing projects that supply to the accuracy and timeliness of the Bloomberg product. Our analysts apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiency, and they implement technology solutions to improve our systems and processes- and all this while providing platinum customer support.

We'll trust you to:

• Maintain data on the Bloomberg system
• Handle internal/external requests efficiently to support a time-sensitive market
• Be able to make/receive calls to data contributors to troubleshoot data feed
• Create real-time feeds and assist in troubleshooting technical issues
• Maintain and improve existing databases to ensure data integrity
• Answer client queries regarding real-time data and feeds

We'd love you to have:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Fluency in English and Mandarin are essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Keen interest in financial markets
• Be organized, have a keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a close team environment as well as independently
• Knowledge of basic programming (e.g. SQL, python, VBA, macro, etc) will be preferred
• Legally authorized to work full-time in Taiwan and will not require visa sponsorship
