We are aligned with Portfolio & Index Analytics platform (PORT), our solution that helps our clients monitor their portfolio exposure, performance attribution and risk profile, and propose optimal trade ideas based on their investment criteria. Our platform empowers them to define appropriate investment universes with benchmarks, successfully implement optimal investment portfolio strategies, easily and accurately measure portfolio risk and return, and streamline their overall investment management workflow and also meeting their reporting requirements.

What's the role?

You’ll be someone that will help us drive the Analytycs service vision of delivering knowledgeable front-line support and dedicated services to our PORT clients. You’ll support key client relationships as well as build and maintain strategic internal partnerships across Analytycs and the wider firm, including PORT & Index Sales, Account Management, Implementation, Product, Project Management Office and Software Engineering.

We also organise, coordinate and deliver customer training, Product deployment campaigns and assist with implementation projects as required by our partner businesses. The goal is to allow our Sales teams to sell, while Analytics looks after service delivery.

We'll trust you to:

  • Quickly see through and follow-up on customer reported issues around Portfolio & Index Analytics platform (PORT). Issues can be related to system set ups, clients' data integration, or model/analytics.
  • Self motivated, not only to solve surfacing issues, but also to optimize existing client workflows, processes, and resources, to achieve excellent client experience with our product.
  • Lead by example to demonstrate full ownership of outstanding customer service.
  • Share knowledge with team and the wider customer support specialists group to improve the impact we can give as Bloomberg to customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate & execute regional, departmental and firm visions.
  • Successfully adjust to and address unforeseen challenges.
  • Maintain and develop key customer relationships.
  • Continuously upgrade skill sets to stay meaningful to business needs and translate knowledge into business results after learning.

You'll need to have:

  • Fluency in Japanese and business level English
  • Deep understanding of the financial market and customer landscape as well as their workflows
  • A passion for providing the highest level of customer service
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Risk & Attribution
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail

We’d love to see:

  • Proficiency in any performance and risk analytics system is a big plus
  • Experience working as a performance analyst, risk manager, or client reporting specialist in buy side firms
  • Proficiency in mortgage and/or derivative instruments is a plus
  • Experience and/or Background in Financial Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Designation or participation in CFA, CIPM or FRM is a plus.
