What’s the role?

Bloomberg Installations is on the front line when it comes to implementing new business. In this high-profile, entry level project management role, you will be the primary contact for new and existing clients, assisting and advising with issues such as the integration of our product onto their network, determining the best infrastructure for their connectivity and ensuring the whole installation process meets the clients' needs.

We are looking for self-starters with great multitasking and organizational skills, with a particular focus on customer service. You will gain an introduction to our products and services, our clients, as well as insight into the global financial markets. The Installations team is a fast-paced, challenging, project management position. You will be directly responsible for the implementation and growth of our terminal based business, and will facilitate change in response to client needs. Installations also assist customers with ancillary Bloomberg products, ensuring that our customers are provided with optimal access.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who are both business-minded and technical, with exposure to Bloomberg's global customer base that allows you to fully utilize your communication skills.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Integrate the Bloomberg product onto our clients' networks
  • Manage resources to meet project deadlines
  • Coordinate the dispatch of field service engineers to execute and support on-site implementations
  • Hold technical client discussions regarding Bloomberg's hardware, software, and network offerings
  • Recommend, design, and implement communication lines to support Bloomberg products
  • Multitask with a high volume of simultaneous projects

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a fluency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Aptitude to multitask with a high volume of simultaneous projects
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk environment
  • Proven excellence in customer service
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Solid understanding of PC hardware, operating systems, and communication lines and networks a plus
