We are seeking a strong C++ developer with a passion for building robust, high performance software and with project management skills for aggressively driving projects to meet the needs of our growing real-time exchanges business. Our team develops feed handlers for the most important financial data sources from all over the world.

As the foundation of Bloomberg's data infrastructure, we help drive the decision making of the most influential participants in the financial markets.
You will help create complex software systems from the ground up. You will also be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements planning and implementation design through to development, QA, release and troubleshooting. We work closely with various businesses and other R&D groups to design and develop our systems. The work environment is fast-paced, spirited, and friendly. Expect to make immediate contributions to our production code and Bloomberg's industry-leading success.

What we need to see:

• Ability to have the final interview at the Boston Career Forum 2016 November
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Desire to design and develop large-scale software systems
• Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Java or Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong programming fundamentals

We'd also love to see:

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux
• Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
• Familiarity with multi-threading and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast) preferred
