What’s the role?

As an intern you will:

  • Gain first hand exposure and insight into legislative coverage by attending events on Capitol Hill and other DC locations
  • Put your social media skills to work by updating various social platforms
  • Research and gather content for government affairs professionals, including legislative and lobbying analysis
  • Be responsible for the updating and maintaining of key documents like client profiles, marketing collateral, and market intelligence reports

You will need to be:

  • Currently enrolled in a university with a graduation date between December 2016 - May 2018
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours/week during the Spring 2017 semester in Washington, DC
  • We’d like you to have:

  • Political Science, Public Policy, Government Relations, or Business major
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, including access
  • Previous experience with SAP and the Bloomberg terminal a plus
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
